How it all began...

Alex and Kayla met one fateful night when they were both out with their friends in North Scottsdale. They exchanged numbers and the next day, Alex asked Kayla on their first date where they immediately bonded over their mutual love for watching and playing sports, music, and traveling. They made plans to see each other again the next day, which led to more plans the next day, and so on and so forth.

Their dating days were filled with too many arenas, venues, trips, and courses to count and it soon became clear to both of them that they would be sharing adventures for the rest of their lives.

...and then the real fun began!

Ava quickly assimilated into their sports and jet setting lifestyle, helping them create lifelong family memories in 8 states &amp; countless stadiums before her first birthday!

This is where Alex and Kayla will be staying! It is walking distance to the venue, welcome party and right on the beach. The link should provide a discount, but feel free to check other booking sites to find the best available rate at time of booking! There are no official wedding events planned for Thursday, so please feel free to arrive whenever works best for you. That being said, the hotel does have an amazing swim up bar and the beach speaks for itself so we don't think anyone will regret having extra time to enjoy the area🤍.

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach

Located in Fort Walton Beach, 0.7 mi from Jet Stadium, Holiday Inn Express - Fort Walton Beach Central has a fitness center. Located around 2.5 mi from Fort Walton Beach Park, the hotel is equipped with an outdoor pool and is set 1.1 mi from Okaloosa Island. All guest rooms in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Every room comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hair dryer. All rooms will provide guests with a microwave and small refrigerator. An American breakfast is available daily at the property. For any tips on how to get around or what to do in the area, guests can ask at the reception. Beltway Shopping Center is 1.4 mi from Holiday Inn Express - Fort Walton Beach Central, while Emerald Coast Convention Center is 1.7 mi away. Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is 8.1 mi from the property.

The nearest airport is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) but guests who plan on renting a car can also check flights at Pensacola International Airport (PNS) if there are no flights to VPS that fit your itinerary. Most guests are planning on arriving Thursday or Friday and leaving Sunday or Monday, but the travel dates are completely up to you, we just hope you can be there for the big day!
